Delicious Dance Academy, established in Oman since 2012, has begun its journey with the vision of nourishing the field of fine arts by fostering a community that encourages creativity, innovation, artistic growth and personal discovery.
The founder and man behind the success of DDA, Mr. Delicious Sahadevan, is a popular face in the Bollywood industry, formally trained under the guidance of many dancing legends. With his versatility, talent and vigor, he has been a part and parcel of the film industry for over 20 years. With an incredible strength of more than 500 students and well-trained faculties, DDA is now the most sought-after dance institute in Oman with an aim to provide quality training in various dance forms and making it available to diverse age groups.
DDA currently has various branches in Muscat along with proposed new openings in other parts of Oman. DDA has rendered choreography direction and performances for many star-studded events in Muscat including various shows with the Bollywood and South Indian sensations – Diya Mirza, Mouni Roy, Aarti Chabria, Vishal Shekhar, Baadshah, Javed Ali, Mammotty, Mohanlal, Jayaram, Bhavana, Swetha Menon, Rimi Tomy and many others.
We have been closely associated with Indo-Oman Cultural events organized by Indian Embassy, Oman and other Socio-Cultural events organized by the Indian Social Club, Muscat. Students at DDA are provided with the best platforms and opportunities to showcase their talents. DDA has been an all-time favorite event in the corporate space for spreading the joy of Dance through events organized for some major players in Oman including Coca cola, OTE, Zubair, Mohsin Haider Darwish, National Bank Oman, Bank Muscat, Danube, JCILO, Desigual, Al Ansari Trading etc.
Leaving no stone unturned, DDA has also set foot into the Film industry with its premiere Choreography direction for the movie ‘Deewana’. To add to the achievements, students from DDA have delivered outstanding performances in various competitive events conducted in and around Muscat including Dance Mania, International Dance Festival and so on.
